Whilst I want the field to be a fun place for you and your dogs, I also want it to be a safe place so I do require a few house rules, by using the field you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.

This field is not suitable for dogs that are reactive to people or other dogs due to the location through a public campsite and because you will be using the pub car park.

This field is not securely fenced, please do not let your dog off lead in the field if your dog does not have a reliable recall. The field is bounded by my neighbour’s gardens and I cannot ensure absolute security for your dog. I advise that you visit in advance to assess suitability for your dog. A longline is acceptable for those dogs that do not have a reliable recall. Any new client must book an induction tour for their first session.

Excessive barking cannot be permitted due to the proximity of my neighbours and for the comfort of guests of the pub and campsite. If complaints are made you will be asked to leave, and no refund will be given for your session.

Cancellations are accepted minimum 24 hours’ notice. Otherwise a 100% fee is chargeable on your next booking.

Please arrive on time and leave promptly at the end of the session. Your booking includes entrance time and getting back to your vehicle. Your one-hour session begins on the hour, you must not enter the field before your allotted time and please ensure the previous person has left before opening the gate. For one-hour bookings your time in the field is for 50 minutes to allow 5 minutes for arrival and 5 minutes for departure and ensure no cross over between clients. For half hour bookings your time in the field is 20 minutes to allow 5 minutes arrival and 5 minutes for departure.

Early arrivals please wait in the car park until your allocated time if the field is currently being used. Please keep your dog in the car during this time and avoid excessive barking.

Late arrivals will still need to vacate by the agreed time.

On leaving the field ensure the gate is closed.

All visiting dogs are to be from the same household, or you have contacted me before to let me know that you will be bringing dogs from different households.

Poetic Paws agility field is located next to the public house and campsite. Please be aware of guests and residents who maybe in the car parking area and campsite. Your dog must be on lead until inside the agility field area and the gate is closed.

As you turn into the main pub car park entrance there is one car park to your left and a further car parking area down the slope and to the right you may use either car park but please ensure your dog is on lead when leaving your vehicle.

Please wear appropriate footwear as the ground can be slippy and/or uneven.

Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken to ensure the safety of you and your dogs the use of the field and equipment is at your own risk, I cannot be held responsible or liable for any damage, injury or loss to the animal whilst being exercised or to any third party as a result of the animal owner, any visitors or dog.

Please prevent your dog from digging anywhere in the field. Any holes must be refilled, and you must report any to me that have been left by a previous user of the field.

Please report any accident, incident, or damage immediately.

Do not bring dogs who appear unwell, coughing, have sickness and diarrhoea, may have an infectious disease or been in contact with an infected animal. Part of being a ‘responsible dog owner’, it is expected dogs are vaccinated and wormed.

Please clean up after your dog and affected grass if necessary. Bins are provided for you to dispose of all bagged dog waste or anything that could be harmful to another dog, including broken or chewed dog toys, litter, uneaten treats, chewing gum & cigarette butts. The poo bin is located by the small fenced exercise area on the slope to the campsite and the main bins are located in the top car park for general waste.

Please do not leave dogs tethered or unattended.

Children are welcome but must always be supervised by you and are your responsibility. Children must not touch any animal without owner’s permission or climb on equipment for their own safety.

I cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles whilst onsite.

There is a first aid kit in the pub and emergency contact number on the gate.

Thank you for your custom.
